"I was
so amazed by Rosebell's courage and commitment, I felt obligated
as a human being to help her achieve her objectives."
"If you could see the joy and lift from the gutter a simple
wheelchair can provide to a person living in such hell, you would
not hesitate to help." |
Dr Eduardo C-Vanci
Born in 1949 and formerly a world recognised micro electronics scientist,
Eduardo's career was cut short in 1994 when a near fatal car accident
left him paralyzed. Against all odds and with perseverance he regained
mobility and now oversees an Internet portfolio, one of which DisabilityUK.com,
now helps thousands of daily visitors.
Working on many high profile projects
throughout the developing world, gave him a close insight into the plights
of the disabled in poorer countries. He spent considerable time
in the 80's on the development of the first voice and touch activated
electronic equipment that allowed those with severe disabilities to interact
and become independent.
As someone faced with the trauma that disability brings, he
fully understands the needs of others and quality of life a wheelchair
can provide. |
